Hi,

I’m Tamara!

Sometimes you feel an emotional pain that is so deep you can’t find words to express it

The weight of those unspoken emotions can easily become overwhelming and heavy, leaving us feeling alone and isolated. You may show that things are well, but inside it feels a mess.

People often tell me that they “don’t want to be a burden”, so they stay quiet, and suffer alone.

Thoughts that “it’s all in my head” or “others have it worse than me” stem from fear, shame or embarrassment that pushes the pain deeper until life becomes numb and joyless.

I hear you…

Feeling misunderstood, disconnected and lonely is real. It’s a silent struggle you don’t have to overcome alone.

… within that silent struggle, true healing can begin

I’m a licensed therapist with several years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I’ve worked in government, therapy agencies, higher education, k to 12 schools. I’m trained in several therapies including EMDR for kids & teens.

I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling, meaningful and happy life regardless of life experiences, emotions or health. I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping others in the process of healing and being a companion in this journey. To me, it is a privilege to hold a private space for others where there is no judgement and is safe to overcome emotional pain.

We all have the capacity for healing and growth, even when it feels out of reach.

The journey to healing shouldn’t be lonely.

I believe that therapy should be engaging & non-threatening!

My approach to therapy combines the depth of talk therapy with the grounding power of nature-based therapy to support creative learning and self discovery

I work well with clients interested in:

Come home… literally

Once a home, my office is located in a house turned into office spaces, giving our sessions the comfortable feel of a living room.

I provide therapy and workshops in English or Spanish, in-person or online and the frequency of appointments depend on your unique situation.

Hours are by appointment only, Monday through Thursday starting in the late afternoon.

The Process of Therapy

How it starts:

Let’s Connect

We start where you’d like to begin. Whether it’s learning about each other or sharing your story, we’ll have a comfortable conversation in a space to safely open up.

Life so far

Therapy is a wonderful process that leads to discover the unexpected and seeing your life in a new way. I refer to this process as ‘peeling the onion’. We take one layer off at a time, getting to the core and chopping it up! When we finish peeling the onion, all those layers of doubt, fear and other difficult emotions will be gone.

Journey to Wellness

Sometimes we know the life we want, but can you envision it? Often starting with a blurry vision of your future, we’ll work together to shape it and make it real. I’ll be your support and guide in nourishing your inner strength to reach what you envision.

Final Thoughts & Conclusion

Reaching the end of therapy means living the life you envisioned and it is time to celebrate you! The conclusion of therapy is a time that reflects the hidden strengths you’ve always had, but now they shine. And with a renewed sense of purpose and control, our journey ends as you now write a new chapter of a happier life.

Fun Facts About Me

  • While I love gardening, I don’t have a “green thumb”. My family always jokes that the Habaneros I grow are the smallest they’ve ever seen!
  • I’m on a mission to visit ‘unique colored sand’ beaches! So far I’ve visited beaches with purple, green, red, black, glass, dark brown and a unique limestone pebble beach without sand.
  • I drove through a tree! Trees are so resilient, even after being struck by lightning they still stand. In the picture above, I’m standing under a Sequoia Tree.
