The holiday season, anniversaries and other significant dates are often a time of connection and celebration. However, for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, these celebrations can be particularly challenging. Gatherings, traditions, and the general atmosphere can sharpen feelings of grief and loss, making it difficult to navigate.

Healing Grief with Nature Cards is a hands-on therapeutic horticulture wellness workshop that uses the beauty of nature designed specifically for individuals processing the loss of a loved one.

What to Expect:

Instead of feeling a sense of loss, you’ll immerse your senses in a relaxed, no-pressure environment that will help cultivate sense of connection and peace.

Participants will engage in the mindful hands-on activity of creating beautiful, personalized cards using pressed flowers, leaves, and other natural plant materials.

How long is the workshop?
This workshop lasts between 60 to 75 minutes

Intended for kids ages 8 to adults.

Workshops are available typically on a week day starting at 4pm by appointment only.

How many people can participate?
Workshops are available Individually, for groups up to 4, or pairs. Families, organizations/businesses or groups of 5 or more people please inquire.

Are sessions online or in person?
Both! Online sessions are either individually or pairs only. In person sessions for up to 4 people unless other arrangements have been made.

About Wellness Workshops

Wellness Workshops are individual or group sessions that are an alternative to talk therapy. Using a therapeutic horticulture nature-based activity, each workshop is designed to guide participants towards a balanced state of emotional wellness in a comfortable and safe environment.

Workshops are designed to target therapeutic wellness goals in accordance with the American Horticultural Therapy Association (AHTA), hosted by a licensed Mental Health Therapist trained in Therapeutic Horticulture.
